About the author
Meet Dani Silberman, author of the children´s book "Three Monkey Brothers". Dani Silberman is a culturally diversified author, fluent in Spanish, English and Hebrew. He was born in Santiago, Chile in 1967, where most of his extended family still lives and thrives. at the age of 10, Dani left for Israel, along with his mother and three siblings, due to political persecution. in 1996 he relocated to Boston, Ma with his wife and son, where he worked as a financial advisor.
in 2000, he published his first novel "Hamorad" (Downhill) in Hebrew, a semi autobiography (Eked Publishing house). in 2008 he moved back to Israel with his family (three children by now) and used the opportunity to turn back to his passion, writing, focusing now on children's books. Shortly after, his first children's book, "Three Monkey Brothers" was published. The book is available in an English version (Eloquent Books, July 2009) and in Hebrew (Cad Yeda, September 2009), when a Spanish version is due soon. To see sample pages from the book, click here.
